Docs launch services
Knowledge bases and documentation sites aren't like Field of Dreams: just creating one and adding some content doesn't guarantee success. Let me help you get buy-in from within your organization, get others involve, communicate things to others, and launch successfully rather than crashing in a fiery explosion of doom.

Pay & plan
I'll invoice you, you'll pay, and we'll get started.
Quick Coaching
With Quick Coaching, you get a preset number of sessions on specific topics for a flat fee. It's the most cost-effective form of coaching. I'll walk you through the most common considerations, processes, best practices, and pitfalls and answer questions related to your use case.
I'll also provide homework and templates to generate documents and plans to keep you organized and on-track.
This Quick Coaching package is two one-hour sessions offering guidance on these topics:
Getting Buy-In
You'll leave this session with actionable strategies to generate internal enthusiasm, seek feedback, and pivot quickly. Guided homework will help you identify key stakeholders and champions and the key communication channels you'll use.
Communication & Engagement
You'll leave this session with a list of the key communication moments and methods you'll need for engaging your stakeholders and cultivating champions, whether that's asking for contributions, announcing your project launch to end-users, or talking to your higher-ups or colleagues about what you're doing. Guided homework includes templates to help you craft your communications.
Cost: $400 USD
Full Coaching
With Full Coaching, you get a more hands-on approach tailored (and priced) for your needs. We'll draft a custom Statement of Work (SOW) to cover the topics and processes you care about. I'll get to know your project and organization in detail and provide sessions and homework to get you where you want to be.
Sessions and deliverables in this Full Coaching package can include:
Key Players
We'll discuss and/or define a list of key stakeholders and champions, as well as strategies for getting--and keeping--their buy-in.

We'll discuss and/or develop a Proof of Concept (POC) or Minimal Viable Product (MVP) to showcase what the documentation site can do.
Champions Cultivation
We'll discuss and/or define a plan for identifying, cultivating, and rewarding knowledge champions and contributors.

We'll discuss and/or define onboarding exercises, communication, or content for your end-users.
